Welcome to the Claremont High School Counseling Department webpage!  It is our goal to provide a “one-stop”, comprehensive resource to help students develop and acquire the skills and knowledge needed to plan for their future.  In our ever-changing world it is more important than ever to be well informed of the latest requirements, resources, and opportunities.

Counseling Team Webinars

The Claremont High School Guidance Team is pleased to host a College Athletics, Recruiting and Scholarships event on May 31st starting at 6pm.  Erica Jasper, the Director of Athletics for the Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd and Scripps Colleges, will be leading a panel of experts in the athletics field to discuss the recruitment process at all levels of competition.  Join us to learn more about the next steps in finding your place as a college athlete.

Mental health needs

With the school closures in the Claremont Unified School District, CHS counselors would like to provide some resources to students and parents who may be experiencing increased anxiety or are in need of mental health professionals.

For Current Students:  All transcripts need to be ordered through SchooLinks.  Students log-on to SchooLinks with this Link:  Select the Single Sign On option and use your google account to access SchooLinks.  Counselors will also be available during office hours to assist with SchooLinks.

  1. Log onto SchooLinks
  2. Click on “Colleges” (left side)
  3. Click on "College Applications"
  4. Complete the "Person Details", "Fee Waiver" and "FERPA Waiver" sections
  5. If you haven't logged in to your Common App Account, you will need to do this first
  6. Click on Submission Tracker
  7. You can now move Schools from your Final List to the "In Progress" Section or add schools directly to "In Progress"
  8. Complete the application information and click next.  SchooLinks will automatically add a transcript request and send to your counselor
  9. You must purchase transcripts through the ASB webstore or ASB student store.  The cost is $20 and that covers all of the transcripts you need sent to all of your schools.

For Alumni:  All transcripts must be ordered through the Claremont Unified School District.  Please contact Student Services at (909) 398-0626.
